Had a great visit to Melbourne Central Lion Hotel and really enjoyed the night, the cauliflower bites I had to start my meal were a solid pick.
The cauliflower bites were crispy and well seasoned. They made a great starter while waiting for mains.
The overall pub vibe is old English style but inside the centre of Melbourne, comfy booths, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere even though it’s a busy spot.
It’s convenient (inside a shopping centre) so getting there was easy, which makes it great for a casual catch up or after work dinner.
The menu has a good variety, so whether you want pub classics or something more interesting, there are options.
